A recent study by the FutureManagementGroup in collaboration with the German industry association SPECTARIS has revealed that analytical and laboratory technology is one of the most promising future sectors within the German economy. This assessment is based on an analysis of 25 industries with regard to significant future trends up to the year 2040. The overarching sector of analytical, laboratory and medical technology, to which analytical and laboratory technology belongs, achieved fourth place in the ranking of future industries.
