
LIMS stands for Laboratory Information and Management System. LIMS support the administrative and coordinative tasks of sample processing as well as the recording, evaluation and reporting of the determined measurement and analysis results. They thus represent the information technology backbone of a laboratory and are a decisive milestone on the way to successful laboratory digitalization.
