The course begins by providing an overview of data management, with a particular focus on storing and processing structured data using databases. Using an application example from laboratory operations, the session demonstrates how to create a technical concept based on business requirements and implement a relational database from it. In particular, aspects of data warehousing, big data, data science, and artificial intelligence are addressed.
