Description
In today's world, data is becoming increasingly important and can sometimes be equated with currency. The data generated in laboratories is also of enormous importance. Often more data is collected from analyses than is ultimately used. In order not to lose this valuable information, electronic data management is a supporting tool for the central and secure storage of analytical data according to the FAIR principle (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). By using data and communication standards and integrating devices into laboratory management systems and ELN systems, a sustainable data management strategy can be set up and the path to a digitalized laboratory can be paved.
