Das Fachwissen rund um Labor-Informations-Management-Systeme steht im Mittelpunkt des jährlich von der Dr. Klinkner & Partner GmbH organisierten „LIMS-Forums“, das vom 13. bis 14. November 2023 Anwender:innen und Fachleute zum Thema „Digitalisierung im Labor der Zukunft“ in Köln zusammenführt.
Selecting the right LIMS to meet individual requirements can be a real challenge. Often all laboratory functions should be integrated into the software, while at the same time the systems on the market offer different functionalities and advantages. With a combination of exhibition and presentations, the conference offers answers to all questions regarding LIMS acquisition and use.
Testimonials and exhibition
In specialist and application presentations, participants can talk to the speakers and exchange experiences with users. In the LIMS exhibition, 24 well-known companies will present their software solutions and services as an orientation and purchasing aid. LIMS beginners as well as LIMS professionals can obtain comprehensive information about the digital state of the art.
Plenty of room for discussion
In addition to knowledge-sharing specialist presentations and practical application presentations, round table discussions invite participants to take part in small discussion rounds on various topics. The talkshop format offers discussions in larger groups in which the auditorium can ask the experts present about topics such as LIMS interfaces or digitization in the accredited laboratory. The frequently asked question "Cloud or on-premise?" will also be a topic.
Future Lab Day
As a supplement to the LIMS Forum, experts will address the questions of the future at the separately bookable Future Lab Day on November 15. Join the discussion in moderated talk workshops, get to know the solutions and future concepts of LIMS providers in the Future Lab Sessions and develop an understanding of which technical innovations will be relevant for your laboratory and how you can improve its future prospects.
