LADS do IT: A communication standard for the networked laboratory

Networking in the laboratory - universal, device- and system-independent; that's where it's headed. A Spectaris working group has set out on this path. Those involved in the working group draw a picture of the current situation in the laboratory landscape and the as yet untapped possibilities, and report on the development of a communication standard.
