Infrastructure as aService: a cloud service for the on-demand provision of virtual infrastructure components by an IT service provider. In this cloud service, all infrastructure components such as servers, computing power, network capacities, communication devices, storage, archiving and backup systems, and other components of the data center and network infrastructure are made available to the user by a cloud service provider. Users can access these virtual services via broadband networks. Billing is based on actual usage.
