Cloud computing

Use of computer resources that are not available locally but as a service via a network or Internet connection. Depending on the type of cloud offering, this may involve the provision of software applications or IT infrastructure, such as data storage or computer capacity. The cloud can be operated as a "private cloud" within your own company or made available by specialized service providers as a "public cloud" for any user, where the user no longer knows where the computers are located (worldwide).
