Transaction data

Transaction data is information that - unlike master data - changes quickly over time. For example, the sample designations and the target dates are different for each new laboratory order from a customer. The customer data is master data, the sample data is transaction data and must therefore be entered again in the LIMS for each new order. In addition, there is also the concept of inventory data (e.g. inventory of open orders or invoices). After processing is complete, the data can be deleted or archived (archive data).
