Description
Modular course consisting of 9 sessions totaling 14 days
The digital transformation is also driving change in laboratories. Technicians, engineers, and scientists—who are trained to prioritize thoroughness and accuracy—are now expected to work in an agile and flexible manner, think innovatively, and deliver quick 80% solutions in order to build the laboratory of the future and thereby secure the future of the laboratory. This requires a deep understanding of current technical and IT trends as well as digital business models, but also a willingness to change—even a desire for change and a sense of urgency—in short, the development of a digital mindset. Data is no longer just measurement results; data is the new gold. Laboratories generate massive amounts of data and are thus at the source. This flood of data must be managed, which means it must be intelligently analyzed, cost-effectively processed, and securely archived. But beyond that, data also offers opportunities to develop new knowledge, new products, and new business models.
The longest journey begins with a single step—and that step could be signing up for the “Digital Lab Scientist” program.
